GILL ANNOUNCES TAX RELIEF FOR GLEN RIDGE

TRENTON - Senator Nia H. Gill today announced that Glen Ridge Borough will receive $250,000 in property tax relief under the States Extraordinary Aid Program.

Alts good to see that Glen Ridge property taxpayers will get some much-needed relief, said Senator Gill, who represents the borough in the 34th Legislative District.

To qualify for State aid under the program, a municipality must demonstrate that, despite efforts to provide property tax savings, it has experienced extraordinary circumstances that warrant additional assistance.

Senator Gill, D-Essex and Passaic , said the aid program is administered through the Division of Local Government Services which works with municipalities to help them with budgetary problems and State laws.
