GILL REMINDS SENIORS AND DISABLED ABOUT REBATE FORMS

MONTCLAIR - Senator Nia H. Gill today reminded eligible senior citizens and the disabled in her 34th Legislative District to fill out their applications this month for the FAIR property tax rebate program.

To receive the tax rebates of up to $800 for homeowners and up to $775 for tenants, qualifying seniors and disabled residents with annual gross incomes below $200,000 have to file applications with the State this month, Senator Gill said.

To be eligible for the FAIR rebate which replaces the NJ Saver and the Homestead rebates, qualifying seniors and the disabled must have lived in the New Jersey homes since October 1, 2004, Senator Gill said.

Senator Gills district consists of East Orange , Glen Ridge , Montclair , Clifton and West Paterson .
